My doc talked to me today about the retroaortic left renal vein problem and is referring me to some vascular surgeon guys.  She said it can be a sign of diseases, cancer, and lupus were mentioned. She wants a biopsy of my butt lymph node to test not only for cancer, but disease. Finally. I think if they can't find a definitive disease or problem they willat least give me a lupus dx, if only so I don't need to list everything separately.

I broke down crying, telling her that I have so many separate medical problems that when I see a doctor, I can't remember them all. I haveto get some fixedso I can cross them off the list. My dementia is getting bad now.

I also have multiple nodules on my left thyroid, where I had just one. They were goingto bx them a year or two ago then decided not to. So now I have to get a hold of my OB and get a referral to an endocrinologist.  My crappy endo called me today and I told her nurse flat out that she was lousy doctor and never did anything to help me at all, and she denies any MRI info or labs that say I have anything wrong besides mild thyroid, and she said Mayo was wrong (My ob/gyn said mayo underdxed me), she said they overdxed me and would not raise my thyroid meds when necessary.

I am so sick of doctors. I wish theywould just call it a one word thing like lupus, so I wouldn't have to remember so much.

I guess the renal vein thing can be from nephritis, like lupus nephritis. I only have it on one side, the other seems to compensate.  I'm so tired too. Does anyone else have this problem of remembering? I guess the renal vein is why I had such bad endometriosis. It is a rare deformity. I just pray they fix it. I can't live with the UT pain anymore and leg pain andswelling. Its just one problem too many. Sorry to unload, just really tiredof these weird problems and just worn out. I feel like I'm on the downhill part of the journey now.

Yeah it's iced tea today, actually crystal light blueberry white tea with antioxidants. Completely chemical but so delicious!!!
Two more new things, along with the lymph node biopsy stuff ahead and twelve confirmed diagnoses of different problems from Mayo. What a mess. I got the endo appt in the end of June, but am supposed to get a cortisone injection in my back in the beginning of June. I better talk to the doc about that, too. I really need steroids. I hope you are doing okay.

Redrose, yeah, its abummer. I hope the baby is doing well. I'm going to a new endo my bioidentical hormone doc is recommending, so they are supposed to be good. I said to the nurse, are any of them women? and the nurse said no. I said, well, they understand women, right? Because we are different... She said, I hope so! Do any of them?

So at least they have a sense of humor. She pointed out that many of the women ones don't understand women and I agreed since I just fired one.

Well thanks so much for the replies, the tea and sympathy! I need it. I'm just getting overwhelmed. Everything is breaking.
