Hi all,
I'm got my nerve biopsy results before my appointment and I'm doing the usual impatient thing and trying to interpert them myself.  I hate getting results early then waiting a week to find out what it means. So I was wondering if anyone might have had similar results on a biopsy. It showed mild focal axonal loss involving small & large fibers with some demylination (thin myelin) as well as increased endoneurial tissue.  It sounds like it might mean somthing but heck if I know :). Thanks for any help. Have a great day.

Hey hun I am lost with what you were being tested for. Does this have to do with your eye sight and possible MS? I'm so far behind on what everyone is going through. I'm sorry.

opps sorry I guess I was a little vague. :) it was a sural nerve biopsy for my peripheral neuropathies. My rheumy was concerened about how bad they were getting and wanted to make sure that it wasn't something besides my lupus causing it. So they are looking for the cause of my leg neuropathies. Thanks again
