Positive ANA results can be attributed to many illnesses and diseases, lupus is only one of the possibilities. I would suggest waiting until the remainder of the tests are completed...then if you are not satisfied with the GP's explanation/treatment, you can take the next step.

to see what your lupus risk is. Look at the diagnosing symptoms
. Then if necessary locate a nearby lupus-aware rheumotologist by locating your Local Chapter
of lupus.org and seeing who works with them.
