I know this sounds crazy but I'm fighting a cold and feel great!!!  My two year old is sick, low grade fever, runny nose and cough.  I feel a little congestion, but I haven't felt this good in a long time.  It's almost like my immune system has something to do other then kick my butt.  The last two days I've had more energy and less pain then I can even remember.  Still have a bit of tiredness and some brain fog, but what a difference.  Anyone else get this?  It just seems so weird to feel so good while I'm fighting a bug, but I guess it kinda makes sense.  I just feel like I'm waiting for a bomb to drop, I've had so much stress lately that I know my body is going to turn on me, so it's hard to enjoy this little extra boost.  I hope everyone well.  Take care and God Bless.

Hey Jennifer! I have the same thing happen. I had walking pnuemnia a few weeks ago and had more energy and less joint pain than I have had in months. It was amazing, of course I took it easy so it wouldnt turn into pnuemonia but I felt great. Also, usually when I get a regular cold, I feel better in general. I am glad to hear someone else has had this happen. I know when I mention it to friends or family they look at me like I am crazy!

Glad you are feeling bettter :)

I know, it's the craziest thing. Just when the kids are starting to feel better and the bug is just about out of the house here comes the fatigue and the joint pain. I'll tell ya, my immune system needs to find something else to do full time other then attack me. I wonder if the CDC would give us small doses of harmless diseases that we could inject ourselves with just to keep these overactive immunes systems busy for a while. LOL Like that would ever happen. Anyway, trying to take it easy today, feeling the flare right at the edges, waiting to pounce. Take care and God Bless.

LOL, Jennifer, that's Lupus for ya eh!!!  It makes no sense whatsoever.  I have times like that too.  It's just so stupid.  I'm glad you feel so well fighting a cold!  See, that just doesn't ever get said unless you're on a Lupus support forum.  smilewinkgrin Keep going!!
