For awhile now I've been seeing sparks as I call them.  Sometimes blue and sometimes white.  Does anyone else ever have this issue and if so what causes it?

Hey Domanique. Yes I see sparks. Quite often. I have 2 reasons why mine come. The first one is a migraine. Secondly is high blood pressure. I have been having high BP for about 2 weeks and I will see red, blue and white sparks. The thing I can explain is kind of like a shooting star. But there are many causes for this. How long have you been having them? Have you checked your BP recently? Is there any other symptoms that come along witht the sparks?

The sparks come and go.  I don't have migrains, and that I know of I don't have high bps.  This just started a few months ago.  The only head pain I've noticed comes from the back of my head right above my neck.  When I wake up it feels like someone hit me there with a hammer.  The sparks seem to come at night when I'm very tired or feel week.  Thanks for writing back
