I had some bloodwork come back from about a month ago as well as a pulmonary function test. They said that was slightly abnormal and would need a CT for further evaluation though I do not know how it was abnormal. My blood work on the other hand showed an elevated CPK again for the 3rd time and elevated BUN and BUN/Creatinine Ratio level. I had normal bloodwork results before this. Any suggestions or any info on what could be causing these results? I am currently in a bad flare as well. Just want more info thanks :) -Britt

Hey Britt, how is the flare doing? Don't put off the scan. You may have some scaring or somthingon your lungs. then again it could just be the weather changes this time of year. But don't take your lungs for granted. I'm thinking the BUN has to do with liver enzymes isn't it? Are you taking anything for it?

systemic sclerosis sine scleroderma, sleep apnea,Megaloblastic anemia
what ever that is.

Hey Britt...The Bun/Creatinine and Bun are tests to see if your Kidneys are working properly. Do you know what your numbers are? Did your rhuemy refer you to a nephrologist? This might be a weird question for you but how is your urine? Is it foamy or coke/tea color? Do you get up several times to use the bathroom at night? When I first started having kidney issues these are things that I noticed....How are you feeling?

hey yall. I actually had a new round of bloodwork which included a urinalysis and my ct done last friday. One thing I have noticed is my urine might be a little more foamy than it should be and that by the time I wake up in the morning I have to go so bad it hurts so im surprised I dont wake up at night to go. I haven't noticed any odd coloring to my urine but I guess well see what the urinalysis shows. I realized when I got my CT scan that my dr was evaluating me for "ILD" which come to find out is "Interstitial Lung Disease." I put a whole new post on it so feel free to check it out. Hope you all are well. *hugs* -Brittanee
