So I have recently noticed intermittently I get this really light vibrating sensation in my legs and I think its my cell phone vibrating but when I check my cell its not. Does anyone get this sensation? Can it be from peripheral neuropathy and/or Lupus? -Brittanee

Hey There! I have no idea what it is but I know exactly what you are describing. I also get it in my arms. It does feel exactly like a phone vibrating...i look forward to seeing if anyone else has this happen and what it is! Thanks Britt :)

I think I am experiencing in my left leg what you are describing. I have CNS lupus. Just this morning I had a vascular test performed on both my legs but won't get the results for a couple more days. I had been having some aching like pain in my leg - mostly in calf and behind knee....with this intermittant weird feelings in the leg....like little nerves jumping around or something. In the test today, pressure cuffs (four on each leg) were applied then the pressure recorded.....it was more complicated than that...but that's it " in a nutshell". Will be interested to know how you do with your problem. I'm wondering if mine isn't vascular but instead, something to do with the nerves.

OMG! I started doing this for a few days during my flare. It was in my left thigh, and I would actually put my hand there expecting it to vibrate my hand! But, of course, it didn't. It did this about a hundred times a day for about three days, then it just stopped. Soon after that, my flare was over. Hmm...
Jessica, diagnosis: unsure

I just got my skin biopsied on my left leg in 3 places monday for the small nerve fiber peripheral neuropathy. I will have the results in a few weeks but the woman who did the testing said my symptoms are typical of that type of neuropathy so I really think its whats going on. Im on neurontin 300mg once a day but its not helping a whole lot. I also see a new neuro the 25th of this month so I will def mention it. I dont get it a whole lot but every once in a while. I believe I have CNS lupus as well so well see what happens! Good Luck to all of you!

I get that feeling in my arms sometimes my hands or legs.  I do have neuropothy in my feet and sometimes my feet fell like they are made of concrete and they hurt I wear socks as they get so cold.  the other day I noticed that feeling was spreading to just above the ankles [both legs] there is at times tremendous discomfort sometimes it even awakens me out of a sound sleep.  If a shoe falls off I am not even aware of it.  I find it difficult to put shoes on my feet.  I have to guide them onto my feet I can not just slip my feet into any kind of foot gear.  Most inconvenient.  I can still walk on them but I trip easily.  Good luck
