So I took my new rash to see a dermy. The news is it is not discoid lupus. Instead I have the joy of being told I have a yeast infection of the skin and that it is common. In the past 10 days I am the 4th patient with one to be seen in his office.

Redrose,
Bless your heart. I Have an awful rash on my left foot and was told it was a yeast infection. I have tried several creams with no relief. What did the Dermy give you for treatment?

I hope it clears up for you soon. If it is like mine, I want to scratch my foot off sometimes. Keep us updated and take care. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Babs

I got some kind of pill to take for 5 days and he said the rash will last about a month until the skin flakes off. If it isn't cleared up in 6 weeks I have to go back.

Six weeks? That's a long time. I hope you don't have to take Flagyl, I can never get them down and when I do I end up barfing them back up, me and my mom coat them in food, jellyor something. I like your quote.
