For years we have danced around Lupus. It isn't that different symptomatically or treatment wise to SREAT (steroid responsive ecephalopathy with autoimmune thyroiditus) although it is a lot less rare.

It seems now to be a diagnosis. And with this diagnosis comes Cellcept. Methotrexate was discontinued last year because of liver damage. The steroids with the IVIG are barely holding their own. And so my wife beganCellcept yesterday.

I know that it takes months to really prove effective. But I was wondering for all the cellcept users out there.
How long did it take until it started making tiny differences?
I know there is a lot of joint, kidney and most importantly brain damage from the Lupus and the SREAT, and so I am a bit impatient.

Can anyone give me ideas on a timeline with Cellcept?

Thanks in advance.
