HI Guys
Not sure if it is related to my UCTD/Lupus or not...
does anyone experience really sharp pains in their toes? I have been getting a sharp pain/cramp in my toe next to my little toe on my left foot (was that clear haha) for the past week or so. Its very fustrating as I find I cant walk...?
anyone else has this symptom or is it completely unrelated? :)
cheers

Oh boy....I've certainly had that sort of thing happen before! But I have no idea if it's lupus or not because I have WAY too many disorders and diseases....
The first time was almost 2 years ago when I was having all sorts of horrible muscle cramps and when it affected my toes and ankles, I couldn't walk while it was happening (tonic cramps??). I remember once watching my little toe as it bent further and further outwards until it stuck out at almost a 90 degree angle to the other toes....I ended up grabbing it because I was afraid the cramp was going to break my toe it hurt so bad!
I haven't had those cramps so much lately, but still have weird stabbing pains at times in my feet, ankles, toes, etc. My rheumy says I'm having a CNS lupus flare right now, but I'm not totally convinced that lupus is to blame for all of it.
