I woke up with all of my core muscles in spasm mode....horribly painful. Is it my fibro, lupus, or what?

The last time this happened was after my liver biopsy when I was dx with autoimmune hepatitis. I guess my body doesn't take kindly to being punctured anywhere....?

Hard to breathe... cry

Oh wow! Does not sound pleasant at all. Have you called your doc to let them know whats going on? Maybe they will have some suggestions on things you can do to help the spasms quite down a bit. I hope it will pass for you quickly!

Thanks for the suggestion Amy....shows how "out of it" I am that I didn't think of it on my own!

I just emailed my rheumy.

Hi Judy,

I'm doing a lot better, thanks for asking. I still have some abdominal pain, probably leftover sore muscles from the muscle spasms I had on Wednesday, but it's not too bad.

It was a very odd reaction to a spinal tap, that's for sure! :)
