Hi Donna,

I spoke with Carol yesterday & she's busy setting up her home gym. She sounds better than she has and was in good spirits. It has been a week or two since I've had any info about Barb, although Carol said that she isn't doing too well. I'm sure they'll check in soon and will be happy to know you've been thinking about them.

Hi Donna, How are you? Like Pat said (thanks Pat), I have been working on getting my room put together. Boy do I need a work out. I was pretty happy with my weight. At first I pulled my pants up my leg all good there, then up my hips yep,  still good. Pull them over my behind and I was amazed they slid right on! Than I slid them around my waist, or then I adjusted them around my waist. and then I pulled them up around my waist, Ok I tugged the heck out of them and they fit half way around my waist! So I am about to have an intimate relationship with my treadmill!
Like Pat said I'm feeling pretty good. a little quieter than usual. not quite sure why. I had to go to give blood yesterday fingers crossed I did ok or I have to start taking vitamin b shots. all though hey it could be much worse.
I talked to Barb a couple of days ago. Blesss her heart she is really having a rough time. She has had an infection in her skin and has a severe rash all over her body. I wish she would catch a break some time. I'm sure she will be around and say hello soon.  she tries to keep up. bless her heart.
How have you been? I don't get to see you around much. Then again I have been having a hard time getting here too. I come here with every intention of saying hello and chating with people. I put my hands on the keyboard and my mind goes blank. rolleyes Thanks for checking on us I really appreciate it.
hugs

I hate it when I inadvertently shrink my jeans in the wash! Use cold water next time you wash them. tongue

Hi Pat, Thanks for the info.
Barb & Carol, so good to hear from you both. Barb I hope you feel better soon, you are ever in my thoughts and prayers. Carol, I'm doing ok (thanks for asking), other than having skin grafts on my legs that require going to wound care twice a week, and this week I have been having low grade fevers and just feeling run down. As long as I have tylenol and icy beverages and my blanket, I'm ok  wink . I understand about your soon to be intimate relationship with your treadmill....I need to dust mine off and use it religiously--so much safer than walking outside! This crap is so aggravating-I am 45 years old and never smoked...yet if I walk any distance I huff like an 80 year old chain smoker...and it got worse when my card put me on crestor. My mom had the same problem when her doc put her on a cholesterol med...I will mention it to my rheumy when I see her next month.
I hope everyone is having the best day possible.
Love and gentle hugs
Donna

Hi Donna, Pat, and Caro:

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I'm not doing to well with some of medication changes my doctor started this while I was in the hospital. Now that I'm home I'm a walking and talking zombie. The medication they've put me on makes me sleep most of the time. Bill won't allow me to drive, cook any food and handle in sharp objects. He said last night I kept him awake and he said I was sitting straight up in bed and having a conversation with someone but who is the mystery ?.

I look totally like a bag of dogie do do. Ive got bruise all over my body, and I have a fungal infection in all the creases of my skin and man it's hard to stop it. Plus I'm having temps as high as 102.9 When I awake everyone is trying to feed me and I have no desire to eat.

Anyway, Donna thanks thinking of me. It's nice to know I have people out there that think of me. If I don't respond within days ten days then maybe you should put out
a post to those who have my home #. That would Mom46, Carol (oakie) Julia Hill, Lynnwood, and Aunt Kay. You call my phone phone first Identify urself to either Nikita or my hubby I'm sure they'll let you know where I am. I know this morbid but I need to say it if I pass on Nikita will send out message here mostly to let you know I've passed on. Again, thank you for caring about me and I'll be around more as soon as I'm adjusted to my medicine.

Lots of (((((Hugs)))).

Love,
Barb

Barb, sorry you aren't doing well. Several times I started to ask someone for your phone number and then forget or get caught up in other things. I am glad to know someone will let us know if anything happens to you but hate that that is even a possibility. I think I have some kind of skin infection myself under my arms because of how the skin looks and the funny smell even right after washing them. I am putting off a doctor visit and trying at home treatment first because I don't have a dermetologist at the moment. Also because I just don't have the energy for a doctor appointment, then there is the fact that my cns symptoms are back and I am afraid to drive myself anywhere.

Carol, I put on 20lbs because of the prednisonse increase and wish I had a treadmill. I would be very intimate with it if I had one.

Donna with your breathing you need to see a pulmonologist. Lupus and scleroderma can cause lung problems. Don't go by some PCP you need to see a specialist. You shouldn't have the problem.
