I had a fall Wednesday, I was at the computer desk and trie to back up a little in the chair and for some reason it tipped over and landed on its side with me still inside of it. Not a big deal except that I hit my upper chest on something. I have a circular bruise to prove it and it hurts really bad. Moving hurts a lot but even just laying down it is painful. It is interferring with my sleep. I had hubby buy frozen peas and used it a couple times with no help. Vicodin isn't helping either. I really don't want to see the doctor, I can't afford an extra visit this month. Anyone have any suggestions?

You may have cracked a rib. Not sure if there is anything they can do with that. Hope you feel better soon.

I fall several times each year and completely understand. Your entire body hurts with the bruises as a bonus. A hot bath with epsom salt is often a big help. I hope you get some relief soon. Love, Butterflake

Hi Redrose,

I am sorry to hear you have fallen. I am the queen of hurting myself, walking into door frames, and our chest of drawers in our bedroom, door knobs.

We have found Salonpas. You can google them, they are fairly inexpensive and they are FDA OTC approved pain patch. They also help with bruises. I have found that I can put them on the back of my neck with a migraine and they help ease it. I hope you get relief soon.

Hi Redrose,
I hope you are feeling a little better today. If the pain doesn't ease up I hope you will see a doctor. Keep us updated.

The pain is a little better controlled today so I will be waiting on the doctor, it's not like they could do much anyway.
