Hi, My coughing symptom started in late 2008, I would coughing episodes throughout day, lasting few days a week. Then months with no coughing.  Last year, I noticed more coughing especially after being more active.  The begining of this year, now my coughing comes when I lay to rest. Three weeks ago, I went to my rhuemy appointment, it was on a monday, I told him I feel like I'm getting a flare-up,whole body hurt, but more intense, I just thought it was another flare, Next day, I was wrong...i felt like I had a cold, runny nose, bad head pains, coughing.
Seven days later, I had an appt with a new Cardiologist, due to abnormal EKG, was having stress test and  a Ultrasound of heart, I was still coughing only slightly during test's.

I still have bad cough, I feel its worse now.  Last Wednesday, I was having small coughing episodes in morning, I was about to leave the house, when my coughing got real bad, that I started throwing up for twenty minutes, I got scared, hb came home from work, by the time he came I felt better. This was first time I actually threw up that much and lenght of time.

Today, my cough is still here...I'm going to see my Primary on monday and see what she thinks
Does anyone have a chronic cough too? I can't stand it, I have to cough hrd just feel like like I'm cleared in my chest, I do hear a lil congestion on some days.

Thanks

Hi Syl,
I have chronic bronchitis that keeps me coughing all the time, but I am a smoker so that probably has a lot to do with mine. Many people get bronchitis that are not smokers as well. I'm glad you are seeing the doctor on monday. Hopefully, she can shed some light on the cause of your cough.

Let us know what you find out and I hope you get some relief soon. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
