I was in the hospital last month and had to get blood (yucko) rolleyes . So Dr. put me on a strict vitamin supplement. I took individual doses of each vitamin all the B's, plus iron, posstassium,D, Calsium, I probably missed one.
Anyway for a month straight I had to take them religiously. Then they did a lab. It came back from the dr. office just a one page deal with out #'s. anyway it said my CBC is abnormal my be 12 is too low. So she said at my next appt we start shots. mad . My body just doesn't like me anymore but I guess shots are better than more units of blood.
So my doctor is out of town again! I was wondering how often do you take shots and do you give them to your self? Do you just shoot it into a muscle in your leg or what?
without the lab I am not really sure about the low cbc abnormal means or what any of the numbers mean. I'm gonna ask for the paper work from the lab when I go in.
any info would be appreciated.
thanks
carol
