do you mind me asking what the problem with Vitamin D was...as i take the really high once a week dose and am curious...beyond the fact I am in constant lung pain and chest pains....so I never seem to know what the real problem is...besides a rheumy who says I have definative mixed connective tissue disease with lung lupus????????????????????????? sorry you seem kind of aggrevated! Kinda makes me giggle when I realize most on here are as frustrated, annoyed, and fed up as me!
Just diagnosed Mixed Connective Tissue Disease...March...all started 5 months prior

when i took my first does of 50,000IU, of vit. d, i was fine! i figured heck its a vitamin, never expected anything.. oh im to take this dose twice a week, so the second dose i took it, started out a good morning, i didnt feel that bad, except for my chest pain...im thinking it was like 4 hrs. later, it hit me, i started like 'going down hill?'' fatigue set in first, i felt so bad, then...the pain... the only way i can describe it, my bones felt like they were exploding! like  a real bad ache when you have a high fever? but twice as bad... shoot i went to bed, slept 3-4 hrs. straight. i made myself get up, the rest of the night was bad. but when i woke up the next day, i was ok. im just having real bad chest pains on my left side where they say i have scar tissue in my lower left lung. was your symtoms like mine?

High doses of vitamin D are potentially toxic.
