about 17 years ago, i was first told that my son had autism . . . 4 years after that, i was told my daughter did, too . . . one of the rehab facilities that my son went to had a really lovely poster hanging in the lobby titled "welcome to holland" . . . it really helped me to come to grips with my children's issues, but i think it is also pretty fitting for someone who is living with a chronic illness, chronic pain, etc.

in "celebrating holland - i'm home" it describes coming to terms with issues that not everyone around you has to deal with or can understand, but also tells of the wonderful people you meet on your journey and how supportive and helpful they can be . . .

the 2 stories remind me of everyone here, the struggles we face, and the wonderful people who are here to support each other . . .

enjoy :)
