So, after a year of being on prednisone (and gaining weight that I didn't need) I have finally gotten off of the prednisone for the time being!

We will see how long this lasts, since all the stress of moving back home and getting everything accomplished will be getter stronger and stronger I'm sure.  But for the time being, I have been off completely for a week!

I've been managing well and my pain levels have been down.  Not sure if that's because it's really getting better, the medications are helping, or I'm getting more used to the pain.  Hoping it's not the last one.

So, yay!

Fingers crossed everyone that I can keep this up through my upcoming stress.

That's great...I've been cutting back per Drs orders for quite some time, now at 3/2 but hope to join you in a few months!

I took my last pill of prednisone in December and so far so good. I feel so much better and am convinced that I'm in remission. It can happen!
