Hi guys! I go back to the rheumy tomorrow for all the test results. I'm nervous. I wanted to see if you guys could give me some input on what some of the tests are and if this rheumy seems like he knows what he's doing (esp since I have to drive 4 and 1/2 hours to see him).

Got a bill from rheumy that states what tests he ran:

CPK
RA screening
Free T4
TSH
Chem 14 panel ?
Auto CBC
Sed rate
UA
ANA
AntiDNA Double strand
Anti ENA ?
Anti-CCP ?
Hep C antibody

I put a ? next to the ones that I do not know what they are.

Please let me know what ya think...

Thank you, Okie! That website is really helpful. Bookmarked that one! So far it seems like he knows what to do (at least as far as diagnosis goes). Are you feeling better? I've been having pain just under the right side of my rib cage too. The rheumy said my liver was enlarged, but I also found out I have a UTI (without any typical UTI symptoms). So I'm not sure what's causing the pain. Mine is like an ache with an ocassional stabbing pain. Weird. I hope you feel better soon.
