Hey all, I'm getting ready to go to the doctor later today because I've caught the virus my 1 year old niece just got over.

But I was wondering if any of you have had problems with your stomach feeling hot? My skin is hot because I have a fever, but it feels like the heat is radiating out of my abdomen.... It's hard to describe.

This isn't the only time this has happened, I've noticed my stomach has done this before even when I WASN"T running a fever. When it did this and I didn't have a fever my stomach would still feel warm to the touch... and it really feels like the heat is coming from a very internal source.

I might not even get any responses before I go to the doctor but I thought I'd give it a try.

take care!

Hi Melskimo. I was just wondering how your appointment went. I hope it's nothing serious. Love, Butterflake

Hi!

Have you lost weight or are you really skinny? Just a thought, but your intestines loop across your abd and they have a rich blood supply because it takes alot of blood to digest a meal. If yours are really close to your skin, maybe you are just noticing normal radiated body temp, and everyones temp is alittle different from others? It's funny, but I just noticed the same thing with my new puppy! idea

hugs and good luck with your appt, suetoo
