I know I sound like a broke record & I'm sorry in advance. I am positive for cutanious & derm is concerned it is also sle. Rhuemy says that it is only cutanious. Can cutanious make you sick? If it is only the skin I don't understand how come I stay so sick. My derm refuses to listen to rhuemy & is very concerned.

Hi Bh,

I know this is frustrating for you. Take a look at this from the lupus.org site. Scroll down to "Lupus of the Skin" number 10 and 11. I hope this helps.

I hope this helps some. Hang in there!

You might consider seeing another rhuemy for a second opinion. Maybe the dermo can refer you to someone?

Bh,

I agree with Lynn about considering another opinion. Most of us had to see several different Rheumatologist before dx. Hang in there!
