for many weeks now, i thought my skin was breaking out with zits.  i get a stray one here or there on my face, but nothing major.... but these spots are tiny pinkish/fleshy in color, raised and pretty small, and are on my chest, upper arms, upper back, and in a band around the front of my torso. that is the dense 'population' of the bumps. it's moderate elsewhere.  like a an idiot i've been attacking them with face scrubs, a loofa, trying to pop them. i realized last night when a neat row of bigger ones came up on my shoulder that these aren't zits. it gives my skin a grainy look.
it's a rash, that doesn't itch or hurt (thank goodness!)

anyone else have similiar rash or ideas?

i'm starting to think that whenever my insurance gets straightend out that i need to get the blisters on the top of my hands biopsied, and this rash too if they don't go away.

now to go to the office...i've put off doing this report for as long as i can.........grr!

Jessica, I have had that. I also thought they were pimples, I was actually poping them ( gross I know! ). When I showed them to derm she said it was a infection working its way out of my body. I would have never thought anything about them except my mother seen them & told me it was an infection & that I needed to see doc over it. It did eventually go away, every now & then I'll fine a couple so hopefully yours will too. I have been dx'ed with scle but they also sucpect sle. I had to have skin biopsys for them to find it. Docs say my markers are low but I do have positive ana. Hope you get some answers soon.

interesting. i have been drinking a LOT of water recently. maybe i am detoxing? i run low grade fevers on / off all the time, so hard ti say about the infection, but who knows -- i would make sense. i will keep an eye on it......and i'll try not to pop them (i've tried it too! ack!)
