:-)    I was just wondering if anyone who has just been diagnosed or has had Lupus for awhile, if they have read this great informative book called "The Lupus Book" by Daniel J. Wallace, M.D. (Third Edition).

I went to my local library to do some research and they recommended this book along with three others.

I was dianosed with Inflammatory Arthritis, (mild form) about 2 1/2 years ago and have had numerous questions all along.  This book has answered a lot of those questions.  It is worth reading.

I was also informed that some of my local hospitals have libraries also.  This has been so helpful to me.

Just thought I would recommend some great reading and information for those who have many questions.

Hi Annie,
I have seen alot of positive talk from others about that book. I haven't read it yet myself. I'm sure the ones that have will have some great things to say about it.
I have read "Living with Lupus", "The Lupus Handbook", and a couple of others from people who have written their own experiences with Lupus.
Good luck with your research. Knowledge is power! Please keep us updated and take care.

If you want to read this higher recommend book on lupus, AND donate to help keep Healing Well going, purchase the book thru the HW Bookstore (located in the yellow bar at the top of this page).

It's the most useful book I've read on lupus, and I read *everything*!

Thank you Lynnwood, I will also purchase it too, there are things I would like to highlight and keep track of.  I didn't know that the bookstore contributed to this site.  Thank you for the info.

I might be wrong, but somehow I got the idea that by linking from this site to the bookstore that a little bit of $ is sent to HW. Maybe I should double check on that...

It's a great book! I've checked it out several times at the library. I think it's time I buy it too!
