  HI everyone,
I have severe constant itching on my chest and only on my left arm, and i do get rash on my upper theighs but that seems to stay a day or two then disappears but the rash on my chest and arm has been there since i've been sick 6months now.
the rash on my chest use to be a rised lumpy purplish rash now its flat and dark looks almost  like a tan which is good but itches like you would not believe especially when the sun is exposed to my skin i use sun blockers seems like it doesn't do the job.
i've read the forum and found suggestions so i will try a few... see how it works for me. the information on this site is so informative and i thank god for all of you.
i'm now finding my scalp to be itching alot maybe it's just my nerves does anyone else experience this?
Thank you all

Happy Feet,
Have you been out in the sun? I had a rash on both arms, chest, and shins a couple of months ago after being at the beach that sounds like yours. I had to take a tapering dose of prednisone to get rid of it. It itched like crazy and I took benadryl for that. I was using sunblock too at the time.

I use otc benedryl 2 which is like 50 mg total. It helps a lil. Also cortaid and even scalpacin might help some. There is Euracin calming cream lotion and a special one for itch relief too. I hope you get relief soon. Heck the ER might help you. TAKE PICTURES LOTS OF PICTURES!!!! call a dermetologist and try and get in as well.
