Good for you Hippi. You've suffered with this long enough and I hope the doc you're seeing Friday will be able to help you! Des is right, getting a referral from a friend was a wise thing to do. In the meantime, I hope you can get some rest and relax some. I know you'll tell the doc about your health issues and I hope you'll also talk to him about Josh's illness and all the pain he sufferss from. You have a lot of reasons for your anxiety, Hippi, and let's just pray that you're seeing a doc who will listen and find an answer for you. I hope everything else is going well for you today.

Good for you, Hippi! I hope it goes well. I'm calling my psychiatrist tomorrow to let her know about my mounting anxiety. Our daughter that was to be married a couple of weeks ago wasn't. The wedding was called off a month before the date. She and our 14 month old grandaughter will be moving in with us while she finishes getting her teaching credentials. (could take 18 months or so)

We are more than happy to help her out but she's 27 and has been on her own for 5 years. We have had an empty nest for that long. It's going to be an adjustment and I feel myself getting really wound up. So, tomorrow I'm making my call!

Be sure to post how your visit goes. And maybe something outside of the SSRI class of anti-d's can help. You're dealing with a lot and just as with pain, we don't have to suffer with this needlessly.
