Hi everyone.  I still have the raging bladder infection and my urologist is putting me on another round of antibiotics to see if that helps.  Having a lot of "problems" still with the "tinkling".  I just want to be able to drink a soda again or something other than water.  Yuck.

Hi Diane,

Are you drinking cranberry juice too? I like the ones that are with raspberry or the one with grape. I'm not sure if you can have those but if you can, I highly recommend them. (((Diane))) I'm sorry that you are suffering. I hope this round of antibiotics do the trick for you.

Oh Diane, You have had so many problems with this. I hope it's a little better today. The last time I had one they gave me two rounds of antibiotics and it did nothing. Finally they just said let it run it's course. Easy for them to say. I know it hurts and makes life miserable.
I hope you get better soon and can get at least a coke down once and awhile. You're right about the water though Yuck!

love ya

Sorry to hear you are still in pain, Diane. I know it really hurts. If they can't get it cleared up, maybe they will send you to a urologist and they can do a couple things to make tinkling easier and really zap the infection. I hope the pills and all work for you though. Usually the second round does it for me, I have stubborn ones too. Some of the flavored waters aren't too bad, I drink white tea and tolerate it. White tea with blueberry. I feel for you and had to give up soda permanently due to my chronic bladder problems.
Love, Marji

hey!! im sorry about your bladder infections!! i have had many as well and i know how uncomfortable it can be....i was immune to the antibiotics they gave me because i had so many dbab said, cranberry juice can also help clear the infection up a little faster maybe. I like cran-apple juice! my doctor has told me to stay away from Ocean Spray juices because they have LOTS of sugar...

Diane, I'm so sorry about your bladder infection. I would imagine that in addition to having trouble tinkling, it must make you feel bad too. I do know what you mean about water. It' so hard for me too. It has to be a large glass with ice enough to make it super cold I can drink that faster than bottled water so I do when I'm at home. I sometimes switch to pellegrino because I can really guzzle it, but it does have a little sodium added. So I doubt if it's good for me. I hope the antibiotics help this time!
