Hi all--

I'm so happy and I hope I don't jinx myself by speaking too soon, but I'm starting to repigment I think and some of the hyperpigmented areas are evening out.  I have hypo-hyperpigmentation over almost half my body, probably more under a lamp, but those areas haven't lost all pigment.  Anyway, using protopic and triamcinolone creams I think I'm finally starting to get better.  I sure hope so.
Love, Marji

Have you taken the "before" pictures? They may be nice to have if you want to take pictures later & compare the before and after.

Thanks you guys! In case anyonw wants to know, it does work and the protopic, which is the organ transplant immunosuppressant rapamune in ointment form, actually seems to give me more energy and is helping my autoimmune disease in general. The steroid cream I'm not so thrilled with. I tried to take pictures and its so hard because my vit is so freckled like and from a distance you cant compare so I had to take close ups and I'm trying to match one patch on me to the patch in the photo and its like doing a jigsaw. Improvements seem to be in the last places I depigmented and hyperpigmented, but the old stuff seems really stubborn, even in the sun.

Well, I need to go to the dermatologist soon and am thinking of marking all the places I have questions about with a big red marker -- otherwise I'm sure to forget something.

Maybe if you make a small mark with a marker it would be easier to match up pictures? Don't know, guess I just have marking bodies on my mind.....crazy, huh?

Glad you are seeing results!

That's a good idea, Lynnwood. I have one spot under my arm that looks just like a poodle with the pom poms and my boyfriend keeps wanting me to get it tattooed like that, a pink poodle, because its so white the pink will show up. I'm not into tattoos after my hep scare. Besides, my luck and it would repigment.
