ok no lupus...Extremely high level of imflamation level and vit D level so low....So she is starting me on a regimen of new meds as if I don't have enough...
 
sulfasalazine and high doses of vit D
 
Caltrate 600mg plud D twice a day
 
Blood work every 2 weeks for a while
 
I see her again in 6 weeks
 
Diagnosis POLYARTHRITIS
 
They are not sure why imflamation level is so high

Tegretal 200mg ( 4 tabs a day ), Wellbutrin XL 300mg, Clonazepam 2.5mg, Lyrica 50mg ( 2 3 times a day), , Simvastin 20mg, Genumet 50/1000mg( 2 times a day) Tramadol 50mg ( 2-3 every 6 hours for pain) Hydrocodone/Apap 7.5 /325 mg( 1 every 6 hours ), Ibupofren 800mg every 6 hrs, Lantus Insulin 80 units at bedtime

That's great news. I don't know much about sulfasalazine but it sounds like they might be using it to treat your inflamation. I know it can be used for rheumatoid arthritis. It sounds like your doctors are aware that something's wrong or they wouldn't be doing blood work every 2 weeks. And as we all know, sometimes it can take years to get a diagnosis of lupus. The best news, of course would be if they're positive that you don't have lupus. How do you feel about your appointment?

How's everything else in your life? I've thought about you a bunch this weekend.

Sheryl; Good news. Arthritis like that is tough, so I hope the medication works well for you. Hopefully it will stay no lupus and the docs will continue to keep an eye on things. Glad to hear everything worked out - Best wishes - Kristin

Rx:  Atenolol, Aricept, Flexeril, Motrin  Previous-rashes, hemi-pelagic migraine, sensory loss, amnesia, PTSD/Dep., host of neuro problems, pregnancy compl., False pos. syphilis, fine speck & homogen ANA; IgM; staph/strept infections, colonitis, pancreaitis, gastritis, costochondritis, pericarditis, Hashimoto's, dyspnea, hyper/hypotension, lipedemia, ulcers, pneumonia, anemia, Scleroderma symptoms, vein swelling, etc.

Diagnosis: Lupus and RA
Medications: Plaquenil (400 mg), RelafenMethotrexate Injections, Folic Acid, Aldactizide for High Blood Pressure, Lipitor for High Cholesterol, Actonel for Osteopenia, and Allegra & Patonel Eye Drops for Allergies.
