I lost 10lbs the last time yeah Yeeha! So how the heck is everyone doing???????? I'm going to an outdoor concert Thursday night. It's Little Texas playing at the casino. So I got my tight blue jeans. (they didn't used to be tight) and my cowgirl hat!  Now all I gotta do is find me a tall dark handsome cowboy and I'll be set.! !!!!!!!!. Anyway I just wanted to drop by and say I feel good for a change and wanted to share that with ya. It' only fair since I share all my pain with ya.
Love you all

tongue tongue tongue Yeah Carol!!! You're feeling good and look good in a tight pair of jeans. How can the cowboys resist that!

And you'll be happy to hear that I feel great too! I'm almost afraid to think about it because I'm feeling so normal for a change. I've even been real busy for three days and haven't gotten knocked down. I had almost forgotten the difference between feeling tired from hard work and being absolutely wasted and exhausted from just a little exertion.

As for you girl, rest, rest, and rest some more between now and Thursday so that you'll feel great in that cowgirl hat! I'm so happy for you. It's about time, isn't it.

Alright Patty, Well why don't ya mozzy on up this way and go to the concert???????? I'm so glad your doing better. I know what you mean about not wanting to say anything. I almost made plans for tomorrow but I decided to just wait until tomorrow and see how i feel. If there is the slightest indication that I'm tired I won't do anything. It's been a while since I've seen a concert. The casino is only about a mile and half from my house so it's real close to go to it and get home if I get too tired. I take it hubby got home by now? I hope you got lots of R and R.

love ya

Hi Sheryl, I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. My life is a little crazy right now. Not as crazy as yours must be though. I'm so sorry you are going thru all of this. My first marriage ended in divorce. Second in death and I have no plans for a third at this moment. I was married to Brian for about the same amount of time you have been married. We went back and forth so many times I was actually glad when it was over. It was very hard. He was more interested in money for pot than for money for milk for our son. He was very abusive but still like an idiot I kept going back. Until it got to the pointof knowing this guy was gonna kill me if I didn't do somthing. It was hard enough as it was I can't imagine what it's like being sick. Are you both still staying in the same house? I don't know what your relationship is other than he is an alcoholic. I know several recovering alcoholics. They are some of the best people you will ever meet. I guess because they know what it's like to loose everything and are gratful for what they have. You said he has been going to meetings. Is he still? have you decided to try alanon? I'm sorry I wish there was somthing I could do but I am thinking of you and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Carol,

If you locate a nice looking cowboy in his boots, find out if he has a friend for me.
I am SOOOOOO happy to hear you are feeling so much better.  I hope you have an absolutely fantastic time at the concert.  I'll be thinking about you.  Let us know how much fun it was.  I'll live vicariously through you this week since I am stuck on the couch or in bed for the remainder of the week.

Carol, you are an inspiration. The only place we have to go here is, well, like mudslinging or deerhunting or running the dogs, we don't do it anymore. If you find a cowboy, don't keep him too long because he'll turn into a fat lazy couch potato like mine, who doesn't want to go anywhere anymore. Actually, we went out 4th of July. I miss being single in a way, I was more active and definitely skinnier, but I love my couch potato so that's that. Still, it would be nice....
Love, Marji

Hi Diane and Marji, I wish you gals could be here to go with me. It's in the evening so no sun to have to worry about. Of course I'll have on lots of bug spray. Some kind of scented bug spray that attracks cowboys tongue .
Diane I'll take notes and let you in on all the details. If I do find one and he doesn't have a friend for you I'll tell him to go find one!
Hey ya Marji, We used to take a 22 rifle out in the mountains and go plinkin. Since the shells were cheap. That's what we did for entertainment. Well that and dodging the bulls that were grazing on BLM land. Yep I always say if ya got a good couch tadder ya need to hold on to him ! LOL

LOL thanks Kristin! I'll try the beer first. I am a little picky though my first demand on a guy is that he has to be breathing! LOL. The concert is tonight and I had a little slip with my health but hopfully nothing that will be an issue for me.

Carol,

I haven't seen any posts from you in a while and hope you're not having a flare. I know the heat and this awful Oklahoma humidity are hard on your lungs and hope all is well with you. Please let us know that you're ok.

Thinking of you,

Pat
