I am all snuggled up and laying down on Mom and Dad's couch and being well taken care of and waited on.  I had the liver biopsy this morning and had to stay in the hospital for 7 hours as my blood pressure was way too low than they wanted.  They almost admitted me and then Mom said she would make sure I stayed on my back in bed and resting and if there was any change she'd bring me right in.  So, now I have set up shop on their couch for the evening and had a light dinner.  Only thing I want to do it sleep and even with the sedation drugs (which didn't work at all) I have been awake all afternoon.  I am in pain from the biopsy site through my rib cage and up into my shoulders and very weak and SOOOOOOO TIRED but overal okay.  The biopsy itself was bad and I cried when he did each biopsy (total of three) but I lived through it.  I will find out the results sometime Thursday.  Will get back on tomorrow hopefully and answer some other messages.

Thank you again for all the hugs and prayers.  I thought about all you today as I was going thru this and knew there were a lot of angels watching over me.

Diane,

Thank you for letting us know how it went and that you are okay. I'm sorry that you had to go through so much pain but glad to know you are finally at home resting. It sounds like your mom is taking wonderful care of you. Take it extremely easy and get much rest. Thinking of you.

Take Care

Diane, I know it hurts and you might want to stay down for longer than the doc recommends to make sure it heals. Even when you feel it is ok, its best to be on the safe side and take it easy. I'm sorry you had to go through that, there is no way to know how bad it will hurt, there is just no way to explain it. It feels like they are doing what they are doing, which is gross. I hope you feel better soon and I'm glad your mood is better. The bad part is over and you will have results soon, they are pretty quick on it. Like Des says, don't feel you have to reply. You need to stay on your side so it clots up and stops bleeding. I'm glad they gave you meds and I hope you can get to sleep sone to help it heal. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Marji

Diane: Glad to see you made it through the ordeal okay. Sounds painful. They don't put me to sleep either anymore. Had all my teeth yanked with no anethesia, not that that is a comparison to what you just went through, but it stinks never-the-less. I feel for ya. Also glad you are being cooperative and letting the family help you out :). Again, your mom sounds like an angel. I can tell you are in good hands.

Guess we will hear back from you on Thursday or soon thereafter. Hope you can get a lot of rest in the next few days. Remember not to rush things, it will all be there when you are feeling better. Hope you feel better soon and my prayers are with you - Kristin

Diane, I'm glad you finally got that awful ordeal behind you, but I know that waiting for the biopsy results until tomorrow must be maddening. Bless your sweet mother for taking such good care of you. What would this world be without our mothers.

Get some good rest and hopefully you'll feel better real soon. I'll be thinking about you and am anxious to hear the results of the biopsy. Don't worry about getting back on here until you feel better.

Take care,

Pat
