I went to see my Rheumy on Friday.  We have determined that the Cellcept may not be working.  I am still running almost constant low grade fevers.  He has increased me to 4 pills a day and I return for a visit in 6 weeks.  If I am no better he said he would like to refer me to a specialist at Cornell.  Does anyone have any experience with any of the specialists there?  My doctor said he is not giving me the boot, but he has tried everything he can think of to help me and I just don't seem to have good responses to the medications.  I have not been on steroids by choice.  If any one has any information I would appreciate it!

Hi MGeddes,

Wow . . . it is absolutely refreshing to hear a doctor admit that they need to transfer a patient to someone more knowledgeable. I think that is a good sign that the doc has your best interests at heart.

I hope some of the others have experience iwth Cornell. It sounds prestigious but I don't have any real knowledge about it.

I hope the extra Cellcept works.

Blessings!
