Wow . . . I was actually borderline diabetic (glucose intolerant) a few years back and have been fine for quite a while . . . maybe because of the plaquenil . . . hmmmm. Thanks for posting Des!!

Wow Rosie, that IS something!! I posted a similar article about Plaquenil and studies showing about its possible decreasing the chances of cancer and that was also a good read.

Lynn, Thanks for trying. It looks like that link is stubborn. I guess the best thing is to keep copying and pasting.

It looks like plaq is the one drug we can take that's not toxic and that can actually help with other health issues.
Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Doxepin 25-50mg; Prevacid; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain; Artificial tears
