I have a new symptom for the rheumy tomorrow I guess. I'm not sure though. I was laying on the bed and out of no where my hands and legs started shaking. Not violently or like they were cold. It was just enough to be comfortable. I still have it a little bit in my hands but it has gotten better. It actually kind of frightens me. Is this a normal lupus symptom?

thanks

I'm not sure Carol. I have had limbs tremor in bed too. Never really knew what it was except maybe that limb was exhausted . . . it doesn't happen often enough for me to worry about it . . . but I'm glad you brought it up . . . maybe some of the others know what it is. I think, though, that yours is different because it was your arms and legs (not one limb).

Hugs for your Carol!!

Blessings!

Thanks Rosie, yes I would like the link. also my cubbies are not doing well but hey there's always next year! I actually read something about large doses of antimalaria drugs can cause shaking. I take 800mg. a day. But I have been doing that for about a year now so I wouldn't think it would show up now. I would like to hear from others too. I am certain I have seen this mentioned before but it's been awhile.

hugs

Carol . . . that's an interesting thought . . . the plaquenil actually builds in your system . . . so it really could be that. I thought it reached a max at about 6 months . . . but if your body isn't clearing it, I suppose it could continue to rise.

Hmmmmmm
