Hi Everyone,
I'm curious to know if you have more pain in the mornings or at night? I wake up most mornings with very little pain but, by the time I go to bed at night and can barely walk or move. In the winter I will wake up stiff sometimes, but it's mostly later in the evening and at night. Thanks in advance!

Babs, I am like you...most mornings I am good. But, I too, hurt more at night. Sometime, I have to set in a tub of water just to feel a little better.

Hmmm, good question Babs.  I think mine is pretty equal for both times of day.  Although, my pain isn't bad at all unless my fibro is flaring up.  Then I'm worse in the evenings.

I'm sorry you're not having good nights.  That can really make sleep a hard thing can't it.  Is it mainly your knees that are hurting you?

Hi Babs--
Good to hear from you and good question! I'm the oddball, my pain is worse in the morning. I believe this has to do with an inability to stay in one position and not hurt my neck and spine. I've been waking lately with severe knee pain, no swelling. As for swelling, definitely night is worst, but I don't get pain with the swelling, at least not that much.

Missed you!
Love, Marji

My gut pain is usually worse in the morning and at night - not so bad in the middle of the day. The hands hurt after I've been using them for something (chopping veggies, trying to do something with my hair, writing, etc.) and so it depends on when during the day that I do the activity. Also the hands will hurt the next day all day long, so not really worse at a particular time of day. My feet definately hurt worse in the evening, and the edema (ankle swelling) is also worse in the evening.

Good topic! Take care,

Yeah, I figure for me...I hurt at night because I have to keep myself together at work. But, like now, I can start in the morning and go all day with the pain in my knees. I am going through a flare up for me and there is nothing a doctor can do. The have checked my knees before, and found nothing.

Hope all have a good and safe day....

I just wanted to say hi to Frank! I'm sorry you are going thru a flare right now. Than have to work on top of that. I don't know how you guys do it. I have problems with both my knees too but I don't know what is causing it. Usually they just hurt but sometimes they swell. Try to get some rest when possible.

take care

I'd say my pain is worse in the morning but my fatugue and overall feelings of yuckiness are worse at night because I'm usually just exhausted from the day and taking care of my kids. Both the morning and night are bad for me, but the pain is worse in the morning.

Stiffness and such for the first hour, till I get up, moving, and have a hot shower.

Then okay, more or less, until evening, when total exhaustion hits.

Isn't this fun?

Gosh what a trip....I have found that when I am in this current flare that my pain is relatively consitant through the day with big spikes at periodic times. I am able to ignore it better when I have a lot to do, but I pay for it after the activity is over. When I am not in"bad flare thingy" I am just stiff in the morning and some "dealable" pain at night. That means pain medicine works on it! ;-) Right now though it really just never is dealable but I do anyway. What choice do I really have? Yep this is a blast ..but it is kinda neat to see some us have similar patterns...hmm.

I am very stiff in the mornings but hurt like a son of a gun at night....in what feels to be every single joint in my body.  From my toes to my neck and every one in between.  It has made it hard to sleep - but for the last week now I have managed to sleep much better - maybe thanks to Rozerum.  So far no real relief from the pain though.

My best to you all.
