Hi everyone, I went to a new Rh over the last month. He did what he called a very ultra sensitive test for Lupus. Well the test came back with a 8 rating and it should not have been over 7.5. He told me I do not have Lupus. I do have Fibro. I just give up with all these blood tests. I have had very high blood test in the past and to me that just does not go away. From what I understand form all of you and from the research I have done. I may not have a high reading now but this something that just does not go away like a cold. I do not know if I should give this info to my lawyer or not. Right now I am having lots of problems breathing the Dr said that is from the Fibro. He told me to exercise. I can barely walk and he wants me to exercise. I can try walking.

I am hoping to get a court date soon. They told me hopefully before Christmas. I am just hanging in there.

Thanks for listning

Lupus since 2005, Fiberomyalgia since 2006,  sjogren's syndrome since 2005,  diabetes since 2006, Depression since 2004. who would not be with all of this.

I just try to make it threw every day as best I can.
God please remember I am on the diet platter.

Hi Tink,
I'm sorry to hear about your frustration....(((Hugs))). I didn't know fibro could cause breathing problems. That is new to me!  Do you have shortness of breath or pain when breathing?
If you are on medicines that are helping you, that might make the labs better this go round.
It is very hard to exercise when you are in pain...((Hugs)). Most doctors say that though. Walking is a great start!
Hang in there and keep fighting for answers and relief. Keep us updated and take care. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Babs I have pain and pressure shortness of breath (and when I take the coated asprin it helps) they have done all kinds of tests for it. The Rh said it was from the Fibro. I think his best guess. ???????? I am just about ready to give up on it all. If it was not for being so close to hopefullu gettin SSD. I think I would just take off and go somewhere in the mountains and just be in peace. Let God do his thing in his own time. No meds no blood work no  drs. nothing.
Start a place for women who have had enough of it all. Just be able to live out our time and not be judged or told to get over it( my husband does not do that), others do. Sorry to ramble on. Just a place where we can be with others who are going threw the same thing in the woods somewhere. Wake up in the morning and have coffee by the lake and just enjoy the day and deal with our pain.A lake with cold water and one with hot water the best of all worlds. ONLY IN MY DREAMS RIGHT.
            hugs to all

Actually, you may be on to something about the lake...my doc recommends water aerobics for exercise. It doesn't cause stress on the joints.
Hope you feel better soon. Judy

Tink, this whole thing has to be so frustrating for you. It seems like a lot of us go through this whole diagnosed and undiagnosed rollercoaster. It can really take a toll emotionally on a person. If you disagree with this rheumy, take all your past labs and your symptom list to a new rheumy.

I've never heard of this ultrasensitive test for lupus - do you know more about what it was?

Hang in there and take care.
Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
