I ran accrossed this site and wanted to share it. You can even share your story. Places to contact your representatives. I liked the celebrities that are involved that you never hear much about. It warmed my heart to read their stories.  I hope it's ok to share this.
Lupus like symptoms, with pbc symptoms, stage 4 COPD w/CHF,  Cancer survivor.  Osteoporosis,osteoarthritis

DX: Hashimoto's 1999, Celiac Disease (AKA: gluten sensitivity) 2003, Raynaud's 2004, Lupus 2005 and Sjogrens 2006
Meds: Imuran, Plaquenil, Flexeril, Piroxicam, Levoxyl, Folic Acid, Lortab (as needed), Magnesium Citrate and magic mouthwash (as needed for mouthsores)

Thanks for the site, it's interesting seeing which celebrities either have or support the lupus foundation of America. How are you feeling these days Carol? It's been awhile since we've talked. I hope that you're feeling a bit better and doing alright. Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.

dx fibro, SLE, glaucoma, cateracts, bells palsy, depression, migraine headaches, gastreopaersis, chronic anemia, RA,MDS (Blood Cancer). Tons of meds.

  Tks for sharing that with us. There's probably alot more stars with this disease, but aren't willing to own up to it because of their career. Maybe they will be good advocates and help find a cure.

Dx: Lupus, sjogren's, celiac, severe allergies.
Meds: Plaquenil, Zyrtec, Prilosec, Nasacort, Prednisone, Prozac daily.
Meds: Epinephrine, Benadryl, albuterol (as needed).

Thanks Carol. It would be great to have a celebrity step forward and really start making some noise about lupus, like Michael J Fox has done with Parkinsons. It is nice to hear how these celebrities are rasing money for lupus research. We need to try to keep getting the word out about this disease and raise awareness.
Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Doxepin 25-50mg; Prevacid; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain; Artificial tears
