Hi all. Would you kindly please tell me if you can relate to any of the following symptoms? And if so, which ones?......

>joint pain

>high pitched sound from inside of head (tinnitus)

>ear crackles to loud noises (like when dishes clash)

>vibrating/buzzing in feet

>hands go numb druing sleep (sometimes)

>hands feel heavy

>weird sensation in center of face (feels like skin is stretched out)

>panic attacks

>rectal pressure (feels like a brick is sitting in there)

>difficulty swallowing (when swallowing saliva feels like a lump in throat)

>muscle pain at the base of skull and neck

>feet are very stiff and painful, more so in the morning (arch area)

I'm sure I missed a few.......

Could you all skim through and tell me which ones you can relate to?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks ladies! I really appreciate your response :-)   I would love to hear more about your rectal pressure (that sounds bad) but I finally found others that might actually understand this problem of mine.......So, if you ladies don't mind can you elaborate some?.....Is your pressure constant? What is it like?
Again I apologize if I have "crossed" the line.

KaAl,

Mine happened after an 8 hour car ride a week out of town and an 8 hour drive back. I thought it would never go away and I ended up with bowel inflammation which responded well to anti-inflams. But is was very painful and took a couple weeks to really go away. I even tried a colon cleanse . . . ughh, yes . . .not a comfortable topic. But life happens and sometimes sharing helps. I've had two more similar flares since that bad one in May. It seems to be how my flares start now.

Blessings!

I get pain in my hands and swelling at night.Even my shoulders ache at night. To turn over and put the covers over me sometimes HURTS bad.I blamed the Lupus and lately i have been blaming every ache, pain and fart on Lupus.Though i went to my Rhuemy and she said i have Carpul Tunnel syndrome and what i'm exeperiencing is nerve pain not joint pain like i thought..That is why my hands ache, get tingly and numb at night. They even get swollen at night.I was prescribed Neurontin and Celebrex but i much rather try and deal with the pain and just take motrin.I cant take any more drug side effects right now.Besides, the discomforts of the carpul tunnel, for me,subside within a few hours after i wake up.

I sometimes get pain and stiffness in my feet in the morning too.No buzzing sensation though just pain and stiffness.Like this morning,i worked a 12 hour shift yesterday and i'm a Nurse and on my feet all day.So today i'm stiff and in some pain.I have pain in my ankles and in the arch of my feet.

Many years ago i would get panic attacks.I would awake from my sleep in a TOTAL panic.Like something was going to happen and i had no idea where i was and where to run.Scary feeling...i worked that out in therapy. It was an emotional issue for me not physiological one.

You may want to talk to your Rhuemy about these symptoms if they are NEW symptoms.
