Hi :-)
I am looking for information on how these supplements are taken (empty stomach?), as I find mixed info from online searches.  I think that vitamins (the 5-MTHF/folate) should be taken with food...
Also am curious to know if anyone has heard that these supps need to be separated from others.  I think Chlorella and Vit C is one example.

L-Glutamine I take on an empty stomach at night

Also, I just started Zylfamend, I'm wondering if anyone here has had experience with that.
Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks so much!
Tracy

Great topic! I know a few, but not nearly enough. Here's my wee contribution.

Garlic (freeze-dried or fresh) should be taken away from most herbs. Other forms of garlic have very little or no allicin content remaining, so isolating it isn't really neccesary.

Zinc for immune support is most effective taken in a 10:1 ratio with copper at the same sitting

CoQ10 for best absorption should be consumed with some fat

Cilantro (fresh) for detoxing is most potent eaten shortly before bed with food

Sam-E for cognitive/mood support is most potent taken on an empty stomach

Chlorella is a more potent detoxer taken on an empty stomach exactly 30 minutes before meals

I did try it once and it was a really potent mood elevator.  Wish I could stay on it, but it was just too expensive.   :-)

Hi Sulma,

Thanks for your response!

My pleasure.  I hoped some other folks would share their knowledge as well, since we've got some people well educated on nutraceuticals here.  Maybe the bump will catch some more responses for us.

I've taken Zyflamed with and without food without any discomfort. None of the ingredients in it appear to be any that would conflict with a normal diet. Because it contains green tea and ginger, I would recommend not taking it after 4 p.m., so those won't cause sleeping problems later. The turmeric and holy basil are great for anti-inflammation of worked-out muscles and joints, as they work to constrict and help cells to heal. It's a good natural supplement, though I haven't seen it for sale for a couple years.

I use Zyflamend and find it helpful for inflammation. A bit heavy on the stomach, but worth taking. In my case, it took a while to see results, but I continue taking it.
I'm in Europe, I buy it in the US.

Thank you Tickled! :-)   :-)

I order it together with all the other stuff on ih.... I'll compare prices next time.

I need to look a bit more into buying things in Europe. But the US orders are coming so fast, it only takes 2-3 days...

How are you doing?
