Hey kendal-I just saw Dr. D last week. Had a really good visit. He is all for me going back on IV Rocephin. The only progress I ever made was on that. I think he would have made me an appt. for another PICC but I have to stay on the mino/zithro for one month and see if it does anything.

Then I am going out to NY next month to see Dr. H and they will decide if I will go back to the IV. I know from talking to Dr. D he thinks it is a good idea but since I am being co-treated I have to wait. So far the mino/zithro is only killing my stomach and giving me bad fatigue. I really want to take a break from abx for a month..

How are you doing and what are you currently taking? Dr. D just went to the ILADS conference last weekend. I am sure he got lots of good information.

kendal- I also wanted to mention I just had the CD57 done again since it had gone up to 60 while on Rocephin. It will be interesting to see what it is at now..plus I did the whole co-infection panel to see if the Bart is gone. Will let you know when I get the results.

kendal- yeah working is tough. I never know on any given day what I am going to be feeling like..but when I am scheduled to work I have to go in. Thankfully I only work part time since I had to give up full time when I got sick 4 years ago. Chronic fatigue makes it sometimes almost impossible to do anything but I keep going. My other main symptom is still the twitching/pain/stabbing/shocking sensation in my calf. That was my 1st symptom and to this day I still have it. Good luck with your treatment plan. Keep me posted on your progress!
