After much deliberation, I have decided that I am not ready to do antibiotics again. The primary reason for me wanting to go on antibiotics again is because whenever I am at a doctors office, they tell me "we don't know what these herbs can do" and they only believe in Western Medicine. I feel like I have a yeast issue, so I don't want to add more problems.

Is there anyone that can recommend a good naturopath in PA or NJ? I'm trying to decide between that and continuing Zhang.

I'd like to do something natural and just detox, detox, detox.

Your opinions and recommendations are appreciated!

Hi Bella,

I am looking for the same thing. I have an appt with Dr. C in Cocharanville next month (my first LLMD appt) and I'm hoping she will recommend a naturopath in the area to work with as well. I am currently in my 3rd month of Zhang and I have noticed that I get fewer headaches than I used to. I didn't have many symptoms when I started treatment, but I can still notice a difference.

How long have you been on Zhang? Is it helping you? Are you taking the allicin? If it weren't for the smell, I would stick with Zhang for a long time. I just don't know how much longer I can smell lilke this! I can't smell it, but apparently others can.

Hi Tickbattler,

I am not taking Zhang anymore, except for the Allicin. My stomach problems have been good since stopping Zhang.

Please let me know if your LLMD recommends a Naturopath. I keep looking but I'm not finding much.

I just realized I never responded to your email. I am sorry. I'll look up the info. for the holistic doctor in NJ if you still want it. I have to make an appointment too. Are you still considering seeing Dr. E in Flemington? Do you know anyone who has seen him? I am moving up to northwestern nj at some point and I have considered seeing him, although I keep hoping maybe I won't need an LLMD (except for pregnancies) since I am 95%, been off abx for almost 7 weeks now..... hoping to stay this way and get to 100% with a holistic doctor.

Hi Maureen,

It's ok, I figured you got busy :-)

Yes, please send me the holistic doctor's name in NJ. I meant to tell you that I just got an Infrared sauna. I remember you saying that you have one, so I was wondering if it helped you?

At this time, I am not going to see Dr. E in Flemington, but if I decide to go back on abx, I will definitely see him. I just figured, if I am dealing with yeast issues already, maybe abx isn't the best thing for me right now.

here are some nj naturopaths (not sure how many are LL)

http://www.naturopathic.org/findannd.php?city=&state=New+Jersey&zipcode=&lastname=&search=Find

you can also search for other states on this website.

I also know a person on Lymenet using a great LLND in Manhattan - he gave me his name recently.

Hi Yaniv,

Thank you so much for the link.

If you could, would you email me the name of the Dr. in Manhattan?

Heth's naturopath is in CT.  If interested, let us know by email and we'll refer.  He has hired 2 additional naturopaths onto his practice and training them to his protocol.  In CT the NDs are licensed to practice.  He also accepts certain insurance companies.

Heth's description:  He is brilliant.
He is.

National speaker for Lyme and will work w/your naturopaths as needed on consult.

Blessings,
Sojourner
