Does anyone know what I mean, I had a hyperactive thyroid and palpatations recently that got better, my thyroid is hypo now, and my palps are gone, but I wake up in the middle of the night with what feels like my upper body is vibrating, it is relived by taking Advil but sometimes 5 1/2hours later its back

Hi Judy,

I have been getting this all the time lately. To me, it feels like my heart is vibrating, but I know it's probably something in my upper chest (it just feels like it's in beat with my heart).

Hi Judy, I have had weird vibrations occur in different parts of my body, but I have no idea which "germ" causes this. I have read on the forum that many other lymers have also had this sensation. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone with this symptom. Wish I could answer for you what causes it. It's one of the oddest sensations I have ever had. At least mine are not painful, just creepy. Best wishes. bablymers mom

Hi King,

I have had the same thing as you are describing. One of my early symptoms was my left foot vibrating.

I get a lot of muscle fasciculations in my feet now.

I have muscle fascilations all over my body, and EXTREME joint cracking along with pains etc. I am so scared I have ALS. My lyme only came back pos for one band. I wont get my co infections till next week-as sick as this sounds, I pray I have them or one so I can get a dx of SOMETHING and start treatment.

Hi King,

I'm not familiar with the symptoms of ALS, but I think a lot of people have your symptoms with Lyme. I had a negative test at first, too, but once I tested through Igenex, I was positive.

Co infection tests aren't without their problems, depending on which lab is used. All of my co infection tests came back negative too, but I have many babesia and bartonella symptoms. What lab are you testing through?

I first tested through LC and it was neg. Then through Igenex. I was only positive on band 34 and IND on 31 and 41 for the IGM and tested pos on the IGG for only two (cant remember which ones)

I am at such a loss as to what is going on. I just think I have some incurable disease that I going to die of in the next yr. I have had so many tests, name it and it has been done and they are all clear. My present fear is ALS. I have gone however from thinking bone cancer, ALS, MS back to ALS, lupus. Its hard not to think these things when you dont have a dx!

I tested for co infections through Igenex and should have the results on Monday, go back to the LLMD on Tuesday and take it from there--she has NOT dx me and I dont know if she will! I just want to try meds to see if I herx, if I do its a good sign that I have it right??? What would 2 wks worth of meds due in terms of damage?!!

Sorry I am just feeling more and more down everyday. So sick of drs saying my extreme joint cracking is "norma" and that I am just anxious or its all in my head.
