I notice that I have bruising on my leg. I did not hurt myself. I can see if I was banging into things but I'm not.
At first when I saw one on  my thigh I thought I banged myself and didn't notice it. But they are popping up in all different places On my legs my knee, etc. Not a lot but enough to say ***?  Is that a reaction to the medication's?
Thanks..

I get something similiar, but I am not on meds yet (will ne Dec. 3 once my results come in).

My "bruises" are small, like the size of a pencil eraser. They do not hurt, so I know that are not bruises from external reasons.

My doctor suspects a blood vessel coagulation problem. He also suspects this due to white patches on my skin that are not due to pigment loss. He had a name for it and I don't remember what he called it.

He ordered many tests for coagulopathies. He is a Lyme specialist, but he has special interest in what these infections do to our vascular system. He believes this is the root cause of the manifestations of Lyme and the co-infections.

Below his name it says- Internist, Rheumatologist and Inflammatory Vascular Disease Specialist.

Hope that helps. I, too, wondered if others had these kind of bruises.

When I first got diagnosed with lyme and was bed-ridden by then, I had huge bruises all over my legs, thighs. I knew I didn't hit anything as I wasn't getting out of bed. It is part of one of the many strange symptoms of lyme, but not to worry. They will go away. My bruises at the time were the size of baseballs. It was crazy. That was about 10 years ago. They went away and never returned.
