Cipro vs Levaquin

Any one take both these drugs at one point. Did one work better than the other? I ask because I

had been on cipro for 3 months and didn't notice much for improvement. Levaquin I believe is a

newer generation drug than cipro and I am wondering if I should ask my doc to try this when I

find my Biaxin not working as good as it is now. I also ask this because I was on zithro (a 3rd

generation macrolide) for months and it did very little for me compared to Biaxin ( a 2nd gen.

macrolide). Any one else think it odd how a drug can be so close to another drug yet work SO

much better?

Beyond being quinolones, I don't know that they have that much in common really.
