as of right now, my titer level was 1.29.  My primary physician is ordering western blot.  I am just curious if you can use a titer number to detect acute infection vs past infection.  Theoretically, i've never been treated.

Is it possible i could have had lymes for years, and not gotten sick from it, and then gotten sick from it recently?  Are there alot of asymptomatic lymes?  Or if you are going to get sick from it, do you usually get sick from it pretty soon after infection?
Can your body fight lymes off so that its never an issue even if you've been infected?

I was told by a Lyme specialist that the Lyme can come back from remission in the event of anything stressful, being physical or emotional. Such as a divorce, death in the family or a car accident, etc. It is his opinion that even after treatment with antibiotics this can happen. D
