I think its the bart or my nasty coinfection. I have been on doxy, biaxin, and plaquenil for a little over 1 1/2 months. Before this combo I could feel the bugs in my head rev up and then spread out. The first few days on this combo- when I felt them rev up and I knew they were ready to spread out I could tell they didn't spread. So I could tell this combo was doing something. I know bart can dig into your veins and then later reenter the blood stream to reproduce. So I was thinking this was a cycle I would have to deal with for awhile. But this last cycle just didn't feel like when I first felt the drugs were working. I've read that bart can run on about a 5 day cycle which is pretty close to my problems.

What I'm concerned about: since this last cycle seems pretty bad has this "bart" outsmarted my combo or do I just keep wading thru and give it more time? Anyone with experience with this? I need some advice. I also think I'm going to ask my doc to switch me to mino instead of doxy.

Feed back please.

thank you
