I have been treating babs, bart, and lyme for 5 or so months now... This symptom comes and goes but came on strong today...

I eat big meals, go and shower or do something of the such.. and 10 minutes later, i'm starving.. I am in the middle of downing almonds as we speak... its almost like i feel i need to eat alot to not get woozy and then i start to feel better.. anyone w/similar symptoms?

Hi hezzer926.  Do you eat a healthy diet?

Do you have heart palpitations, anxiety, shortness of breath, and/or weight loss?

I do eat a healthy diet. I have lost weight but I thought it was from eating less sugar and carbs.  I do get anxiety sometimes and am irritable. For some reason, I function much better at night then during the day.  I also do sometimes get heart palpitations... a thyroid issue?

I also have really dry skin on my elbows and lips..

Hi hezzer926.  I suggest having your thyroid function checked in case you may be hyperthyroid.

It would also be a good idea to have your adrenal function checked.  Sometimes if your cortisol levels are too high at night and not high enough in the morning, you can feel better in the evening than in the morning.  It is my understanding that saliva testing is more reliable than blood testing.

Exactly. My adrenals were fatigued and that is exaclty what would happen. I would drag myself out of bed at noon and then I'd be ready to party at mid-night.  (: D

If the corners of your mouth are dry and split, you might have a B12 deficiency. I also am hungry most of the time even though the abx makes me feel like I have rocks in my stomach. I ate almonds by the bag. They are full of magnesium which is depleted by lyme so you might try to supplement B12 and magnesium.
