smilewinkgrin  I am so happy! I found out today that I have exactly 8 more treatments to go till I am done at Envita! Yes I am counting big time. My 5 year old held up to little hands with four fingers up on each and she is so happy. It will take me two weeks to do 8 treatments. I have three days of the EDTA and then a easy day on Friday of the minerals. The three days of EDTA are tiring. But all in all it is cake walk. Since I could not funtion when I got here.
I am most happy that people are getting their insurance to cover their treatments here.  Maybe because the treatments are short and also because of their success. I am excited.
But I am writing this as I am getting my treatment...and yuke. I am going to go back to the hotel and lay down. It makes me very tired and nauseated. But oh well....I can count the days till I can go home now on two little hands.
2004 in Martha's Vineyard me and my two daughters then 11 mos and 6 all got Lyme Disease. This was only known to us because we found the tiny ticks on us and we got very ill. My dog also got lyme and he went lame.
We have fought it for 4 years to no avail.
We all got it again this summer is Texas.
I am now in treatment in Scottsdale Arizona at Envita.

How do they KNOW you are all done in 8 days? What exactly happens that they decide you are all set? I am also curious if treatment at home is required like Kendall asked. I think we are all interested in this protocal  but I am most curious how they know you are well now? Envita told me on the phone that there was no cure for Lyme.    D

hey kendal,
Your right they need to come to Boston big time. I am sure that these places will be available all over. I don't think it will be long for it to catch on. It took me 5 years of being sick to find this place.
When I came for my Dr.s app here they told me that it would be a 8-10 week treatment for me. And so I am at the end of it. I finished it. And my blood work looks great. I am clean.

1 bitten,
I am not going to go into it about the hmo's. It is too political for sure. I can only tell you that I have meet people at the clnic who are getting covered. Even the cancer people. Who are getting treatment after their chemo did not work.

Dowa,
I was never told that I could not be helped. Or I would not have waisted my time moving here...lol. What I have been told is that my own immune system when runnnig well cand defend itself. That is why this whole treatment is not just about popping pills. And involes a strick diet and exercise and sleep. And supplements. It is a whole treatment to help the whole body.
I mean if you get cancer. A Dr. will not tell you that he can get rid of the cancer either. And after having lost 3 close friends to brain cancer in the last 11 mos. there are no gaurantess in life at all.
I feel better than I have been in 5 years. I do not want to be here any more. I feel fine. I have felt fine for a while.
That is why I keep leaving and skipping out of town. I want to live my life that I have missed so much of. And my poor kids. It has been the worst for them. I have been out to lunch. lol.
I know I am done because I am well. They have run all of my labs and I am fine. I am done. I can only take so much of this anymore. I don't feel sick anymore. Not that the treatments don't make me feel bad. Because they do. But I still feel so much better than I did in sept. It is a new time for me now.
I am done in two weeks. I will not be treated any more. That is it.

M: I didnt mean that they could not help you. I spoke to them personally over a year ago and they just said they could not "cure" Lyme. They also told me they did not take insurance, so I dont understand the changes, thats all. Dont get me wrong, I am thrilled that you are feeling well, I just worry that it may not be as successful for everyone, all our circumstances are different. And you said it was not that expensive, but for most of us, that would be considered a huge amount of money out of pocket. Again, everyones circumstances are diffferent. Congratulations on your recovery and Stay well!  D

I too agree that it is wonderful that you are feeling so well after being so ill. I personally do not have an HMO, I have great health insurance, but when I contacted them they told me they do not accept insurance. Maybe these people are paying up front then being reimbursed by their health insurance.

I would like to try it if I had the time and money. Having neither, I 'll have to stick with vitamins and antibiotics.

I think that the peoples insurance pay them back. And yeah, it is not easy to move to AZ to get better. That is the part that sucks.
I did not have the "time" either. Being a single parent of two small kids and the dad not even paying child support.
And I could not even go to the grocery store due to my panic attacks and countess EKG's. And also not having one single person coming with me to help me. Not even my own mother. Nor my dad whom I supported for 9 years when he was ill.

But you guys that are cold calling a place and asking tons of questions are not going to get what you need to know over the phone.

You are not even speaking to a Dr. And if you were to call a receptionist at a Dr.s office for cancer and ask her if he can "cure" you of your cancer..you are going to get the same answer.

Hopingto find a cure,
You should try to make the time to save your life.

I am only sharing my personal exp. about having found a methos that cured me. It is up to you to make your own choices and to take an agressive approach to your own re covery.

Not having time to live? I don't get that one. I great women died here the other day in AZ. she was not getting treatment here, but she died of heart failure from her lyme.
I did not want to live anymore. I only did this for my kids. Now I am glad that I did it.
My whole perspective is different.
I would have sold my car to get here. It is not like I could drive it anyways...lol.
