i've been curious about whether folks have had success beating Lyme without using antibiotics. I've had success going all natural and using the immune system. Just wondering if it's possible to finish Lyme off this way.

I am trying my best, problem is the immune system is affected in Lyme so building it up is not easy. My immune system is not working like it should. So far I have not done antibiotics. What exactly is your protocal?? I am interested.  D

I don't use any established protocol. This is something I came up with over a period of time while I was being misdiagnosed and before I came to know about Lyme. Iy started when the docs couldn't figure out the rash all over my body. I researched rashes and it seemed that most were virally based. So I boosted my immune system. The rash receded.

Since discovering Lyme I have added some things.

I take a pharmaceutical grade multi-vitamin/mineral. I take herbal products for heart health, joint health and inflammation. I take an immune system booster. I also use nontoxic household and personal care products to reduce the toxic load on my system. Recently I added a tea that I believe is antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral. This is still experimental.

Things start to get rough when I gert off my supplements, so I believe it's working. Just don't know if it will finish this thing off.

Sure. I'm drinking tea tree tea. It's pretty hard to find.

I'm sorry if I seem cryptic. It's just that I buy from a company that requires a membership. If you join through me I would get a fee. And that would be selling.

I don't want to jeopardize being a member of this group. There are so many good folks here and so much to learn. I'm just trying to share a concept that seems to be working for me. After seeing how people are suffering so and how my suffering is so relatively light, I'm sharing possibilities.

There are a lot of excellent products out there that could do the same thing for you.

I be a he. I've been using tea tree derived products for years with no adverse effects. My quite deep voice has remained that way, no other changes from pre-tea tree.

It would be interesting to see the study you mentioned. We have found tea tree oil to be very beneficial. It does a lot of things and does them well.

Thanks Frango. I checked the web site out. It's good to be aware. The problem looked to be pretty benign.

Tea tree oil is in most of our personal care products. It's a great first aid product. The benefits more than offset the risks. It can even be used to back ticks out when they bite.

If I start getting fussy (or is it fussier?lol), I'll take another look.

Thanks again.

Mom and I are on all natural treatment and both of us are seeing improvements!  We both can't take oral antibiotics because they were killing my stomach and making my mom go into liver and kidney failure.  I tried the intramuscular Bicillin injections for awhile, but saw very little improvement in my condition.  And IVs...i'm scared to death of them.  So all natural is kinda my only option at the current moment.

Thanks Franco: My progesterone is normal, my estrogen is 160 when 40 is normal for post-menopause. Did the progesterone cream bring your estrogen level down? I knew about soy, etc. but had never heard about tea tree oil and estrogen. Interesting.  Mold poisoning is also a  cause of high estrogen and I was blaming it on my mold exposure. Do most female Lymies have high estrogen??  Thanks  D
