Hi Kendal- I think the rocephin is starting to make a little difference. I have been on for 8 weeks now and I am feeling small glimmers of hope. I am only taking the iv and zithromax/plaquenil now. I am also taking Enula from the cowden protocol. I don't see Dr. D until next month. I think I will be adding another iv abx next month-probably zithro. I had such a terrible flare from the rocephin they wanted me to wait to add anything.

What are you currently taking and how are you feeling?? I was taken off the malarone since I have been on for over a year now. Please let me know how your appt goes and say hello to Dr. D for me!

I been off abx for 4 or 5 weeks. i had appt with DR. D On Jan 7 put have to cancel it. intill this tues. i was feeling pretty good intill i got sick with the bug that is going around. now i feel lousy. i still have the thigh and neck pain all the time. i'm just guessing maybe i will have to live with it. I live with a heating pad and bed warmer to get by. i would like to try a IV but that wont happen i just cant be out of work that long. so i dont now if he would try Rocephin shots or not. i did the bicillin shot. i think they only help alittle. Thanks, -:)

kendal- Did Dr. D take you off the abx? You really don't have to be out of work for the IV. Just the day of insertion and you could try and have it later on in the afternoon if possible. The only problem is with insurance cause mine only paid for one month then we have to get it through our prescription plan. It is a big process to buy all the supplies etc.

If you are not feeling worse off the abx maybe you could try some of the herbals like cowden. I am not sure how long I am going to stick with IV. I don't think I am going to make all that much progress and I am beginning to think I will just have to deal with how I feel. We will see in a few months if I make any more progress. I still have the bad leg pain so it hasn't done anything for that.

Please let me know how your appt. goes and what you decide to do. thanks and take care...
