Hi,

Have finished 20 months AB course, which helped a great deal.
Still suffer from neuropathy/cognitive problems. Recovery approx 80% to 30%(which 30% relates to the occasional bad days on which I still suffer the neuropathy/absent attacks). Face sometimes still shows contractions on one side (kind of bell's however not drooping but contractions of muscles: pulls one eyebrow down and cheek on same side up, and eye on other side more open, kind of ptosis like)

Is this laboutcome normal after 20 months AB (plaq/biaxin), see test 4. What does it mean? I know P41 stands for a.o. borrelia, hiv, Epstein, Cytomegalie, however I have been tested for the latter 3 (and found negative), am bit lost what else it might be (next to lyme....) as I am still searching in view of the ongoing complaints.

Prior AB:

Test 1)
Elisa: IGG- 350 positive
Elisa: IGM- negative
WB: IGG p41, p39
WB: IGM p41

Test 2) 6 months later
Elisa: IGG- 280 positive
Elisa: IGM- negative
WB: IGG p41, p39
WB: IGM p41

Herafter 20 months AB treatment:

Test 3) 5 months after the last AB
Elisa: IGG- 130 equivocal
Elisa: IGM- negative
WB: IGG p41
WB: IGM p41

Test 4) 12 months after teh last AB
Elisa: IGG- 130 equivocal
Elisa: IGM- negative
WB: IGG p41
WB: IGM p41

Thank you for any suggestions
